FUTURE GREENS for Golf Course Superintendents

golf course superintendent inspecting a sand root zone

Greens, tees and fairways need different soil programs. FUTURE GREENS lets superintendents manage sand hydraulics, hydrophobicity, compaction, carbon and biological performance without treating every problem as the same wetting-agent event.

Choose the right FUTURE GREENS product

  • Sodic, dispersive or reactive clay: CLAY FIXER.
  • Compacted, low-infiltration or hydrophobic non-sodic soil: POWER BREAKER.
  • Sand, gravel, pebbles, perlite and freely draining profiles: SAND FIXER.
  • Feeding, wetting, carbon, biostimulation and total root-zone upgrading: LIQUID BIOCHAR.
  • New mixes, renovation and permanent carbon building: BIOCARBON, FUTURE GREENS’s premium nutrient-integrated biochar.

Choose the right range

Use PRO SERIES 10 L and 20 L concentrates, generally at 1–2 mL/m², for efficient professional application across golf surfaces.

Installation and renovation

Use SAND FIXER to level moisture and nutrient movement through sand, gravel and freely draining construction profiles. Use POWER BREAKER where non-sodic compaction or hydrophobicity limits movement. Reserve CLAY FIXER for confirmed sodic or dispersive clay. Incorporate BIOCARBON during construction or major renovation.

Recovery, maintenance and upgrading

LIQUID BIOCHAR provides the ongoing platform to feed, wet, build carbon and biostimulate the active root zone. Schedule treatment from moisture data, infiltration, root depth, traffic and renovation—not habit alone.

FUTURE GREENS’s soil-active technologies associate with the treated profile for targeted, low-migration performance across acidic and alkaline conditions. Reapplication is driven by soil behaviour, cropping, disturbance, profile movement, returning compaction or declining performance—not a disposable calendar.

Practical program

  1. Separate greens, tees, fairways and roughs by profile.
  2. Measure repellency, infiltration and moisture uniformity.
  3. Select SAND FIXER, POWER BREAKER or CLAY FIXER by diagnosis.
  4. Apply through calibrated spray equipment and water to target depth.
  5. Add BIOCARBON during profile access.
  6. Use LIQUID BIOCHAR to maintain and upgrade performance.

Measure the area, calibrate equipment, distribute evenly and use enough carrier water to move treatment into the intended root zone without runoff. Always follow the label for the exact product and range.
