Product information
PRO SERIES SAND FIXER is a liquid soil adjuvant designed to improve water distribution and nutrient efficiency in fast-draining, hydrophobic and clay-contaminated profiles. It is suitable for sand, sandy loam, perlite, gravel, pebbles and loose growing media.
Unlike conventional wetting agents that move with water, SAND FIXER binds directly to mineral surfaces and continues influencing later irrigations.
CORE FUNCTIONALITY AND BENEFITS
SAND FIXER coats mineral particles with a functional “mineral skin” that changes how water moves through the profile.
Horizontal Spreading
Creates a wider, flatter wetting pattern—bridging dry gaps and expanding moisture availability across the root zone.
Nutrient Distribution
Builds a broader, connected water pathway so dissolved nutrients, fertilisers and compatible additives spread further instead of being lost through vertical bypass.
Clay-Fines Flocculation
Carries a light charge to draw dispersed clay fines into larger flocs—reducing pore blockage and restoring water movement through clay-affected sand.
Resource Efficiency
Helps reduce irrigation water and fertiliser loss below active roots while supporting more even moisture and growth.

APPLICATION
Apply as a diluted liquid through standard spray or irrigation equipment 0.1% v/v
- Standard loose profiles: 2 mL/m²
- Hydrophobic or severe dry patches: 5 mL/m²
- Clay-contaminated sand: 10 mL/m²
Dilute with at least 1 L of water per m².
Apply evenly to moist soil and water in lightly.
SAND FIXER begins working with the next irrigation.
Apply monthly until the profile is treated and water behaviour is corrected. Then top up twice yearly—or when soil movement causes the problem to return.
